  1. Waxed on 5/10/65, "Bad Boy" is one of two songs slated exclusively for BEATLES VI. Paul doubles on Hohner Pianet and Ringo on tambourine. The country-flavored "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party" was written for Ringo, although John ended up double tracking the vocal. The 19th and final 9/29/64 take was used for the master/5(45).
  2. The CD has a good sound except for the first two tracks of "The Beatles VI" they didn't sound as clear as the rest of the CD so I'm giving it a B+ for that reason if not for that I would have gave it 5 stars. I would still recommend this CD to any Beatles fan/5(39).

  8. Beatles VI includes two tracks featuring searing John Lennon vocals, recorded specifically for the North American market: "Bad Boy" and "Dizzy Miss Lizzy", both covers of Larry Williams songs, and both recorded on Williams' birthday (10 May ), marking perhaps the only time that the Beatles recorded material especially for North America.
  9. Because Capitol in the states was eager and anxious to release another Beatles LP for the American market, the group's record producer George Martin got them into the studio to record two songs, specifically for "Beatles VI". This eventually resulted in two larry Williams covers of "Bad Boy.
